I'm leaving in just a few hours for Belgium, Mitsy/Artmind has invited me to come stay with her, and together we'll attend the Stiel en Stijl art fair in Leuven. It starts tomorrow evening at 7pm, and is opening on Saturday and Sunday from 10am-5pm.

Mitsy and I will be presenting a big range of our new North Story series, as well as some of our jewellery pieces. We'll also each have a selection of our own work to show too.

I'll be at the Meet Market this weekend, Saturday from 3:00pm till midnight and Sunday from 1:00pm until 11:00pm. It's on at Technopolis/ Gazi - get off at the Keramikos metro stop.
I'll be there with acrylic accessories, paper goodies, pins, as well as a few other bits and pieces. I hope to see you there!

I've been working on a new collection with Mitsy / ArtMind, this time we've used a collection of my images, that Mitsy has had professionally screen printed as ceramic decals, and applied to porcelain.

The collection is called North Story, as the drawings are really inspired mostly by northern hemisphere imagery.

If you're interested in seeing some of the making process, Mitsy has made a blog post showing how it's all done.

The collection includes brooches, studs and rings, with pendants to be added soon! You can find them in both my Etsy shop Annarubyking and Mitsy's Artmind.

it's been awhile, but I'll be attending the next Meet Market, this weekend, July 2 + 3, at the D12 building in Technopolis. Open from 3pm till midnight, I'll have acrylic accessories, paper goodies, buttons and a few new things, so I hope you will stop by!

this week and last week have seen a number of bears crossing my work bench, in fact I'm having a bit of a northern hemisphere animal love affair at the moment. the bears will be coming first. this is just a little sneak peak, hopefully I'll have the first items ready to show by the end of the week.

200 rings / 20 creators is on again at Galerie Goutte De Terre in Paris. It runs from June 2 until June 15th, so I hope you'll be able to make it!

two new fabrics added to my shop, little bugs in a new colour, amber, and my green crow pattern. I'll be testing some new colours for the crows as well, so hopefully I'll have a colourful crow family in the weeks and months to come!

I'm still not quite back to work yet with my pesky wrist, but I do at least have some new work that I'm slowly releasing into my Etsy shop. It's a new collection that I started late last year, using lovely beach pottery and sterling silver. What I love about beach pottery is how each piece has its own history and imagining what it could be is half the fun. Lost pirate treasures, litter from an ancient city, angry housewives... I then get to join the mismatching pieces together to make a new little wearable story of my own.

a new exhibition

I have a few new pieces available in the 3rd edition of the 200 rings/20 artists exhibition at Galerie Goute De Terre in Paris, running from December 9 until the 18th. My pieces include these two rings, plus I have some new necklaces and earrings in the general collection. Go check it out if you're in the area!

Anyone interested in seeing some of my jewellery in the flesh, can now visit the Fashion Museum in Hasselt, Belgium. Mitsy from Artmind, who makes all the amazing porcelain pieces I get to play with has created a gorgeous display of our collaborative jewellery.

Mitsy also has a collection of her feeling sculptures on display at the museum.

This months Meet Market is coinciding with the Synch Festival at Technopolis, Friday June 4 and Saturday June 5. I'll be there with lots of acrylic accessories and paper goodies and a good supply of red bull since we are there till late! the hours are 19:00-04:00 each day. You will need to buy a ticket for the Synch Festival to get in to see us in the D12 building, there are one day and two day tickets available. I hope to see you there!

Right now they are stocking some of my acrylic accessories and paper goodies, as well as loads of other fabulous micro brands. I have two new fabric designs in my Etsy shop today, blue feathers and bugs. Yesterday I sold some of my fabric to a customer who is going to be making little puppets for her nephew's baptism, it's such a cute idea and I can't wait to see how they turn out!

and in my jewellery shop, you'll see some new designs in my wooden segment series. I love working with twigs, so I've been meaning to create some new designs for a long time now. Finally the long awaited ring (I love square rings don't you?) and a set of studs. I'm very proud of the stud design, hidden inside are two silver prongs which hold the segment on nice and securely.

I hope to have another ring design finished and in the shop in the weeks to come, as well as some new necklaces. I hope you'll like it all!

the first of my new gift cards came back from the printers late last week, and I'm so happy with the result! They are printed on 100% recycled paper of course, and matched with a recycled map paper envelope. I can't wait to get some new designs made. These first two are available in my Etsy shop now.

I'm back from holidays, and both my online shops are open again.

In the next few weeks you can expect some new paper goods for my illustration shop, some new gift cards, printed on recycled cardstock and some new notecards too. A bit further away, in a month or so, I hope to have a couple new fabric designs ready too.

For my jewellery shop, I am working on some rings, yes I know my shop is sadly lacking in rings. Hopefully this will be remedied soon and you like the new pieces I come up with! One line of rings will be derived from my very popular segment earrings, and I'll be trying out some thick bands in silver too.

I'm also thinking about trying my hand at gold for the first time, which is a scary prospect, but exciting at the same time too.

Anyway, hopefully all these turn out as nicely as they appear in my head, so I can show them off to your soon!

on holidays!

I'll be closing my online shops for two weeks from Friday March 12, while I am away in Italy (yay!)

They will be back open again on Saturday March 27.

What a great start to the month, today is the launch of my lovely new website.
Many thanks to Despina my very talented friend who created all the pretty graphics, I just love it!

I'm so excited to have my designs printed on fabric, it's something I've wanted to try for such a long time! today I added my first three designs to my Etsy shop, with more designs planned for the future.
