my first letterpress print! I've wanted to have one of my pieces printed in this method for such a long time, as it's such a beautiful and old style result. I found Davina of Fluid Ink in Western Australia who is lucky enough to have two such printing presses and she was able to do the printing for me.
I love the result, and hope I can get more done in the future. You can find my Swan River Colony letterpress print here.
Time to introduce you to a new shop stocking Lila Ruby King, Hear Hear in the Netherlands. Located in Amsterdam, Heisteeg 8, this Sunday they're throwing an all day walk-in-opening-party so get going why don't you!

I've been doing some ceramic decaling. Not really something I usually do, not having a ceramic studio and all, but Mitsy and I first made some of these special series pieces at her workshop when I visited in 2011, and the ones we made had sold quite well over Christmas, so it was time to make some more.
It's such a fun process, more like making a collage than typical decaling work, and so each piece is completely unique.
These are a quick look at the ones I made, if you're interested in seeing more of the process, you can check out this blog post Mitsy made - which includes the making of the porcelain shapes too.
I'll have mine finished off and in my Etsy shop hopefully in a few weeks time, Mitsy still has a couple left in her shop.
I'm very happy to inform you that Lila Ruby King products are now available in Spain. You'll find them at the lovely Kubelik in Valencia. I hope if you're nearby you will pay them a visit!
